Ok, let me try and explain my setup here so you can understand what I want 🙂
I've got my stereo speakers on either side of my desk. I've got my amp under my desk. The amp is an older model and doesn't have a remote, so if I really want to adjust the volume in a gameI have to reach under my desk and use the volume knob. I can normally use the volume control in windows but I just want to be able to reach out onto my desk and adjust the volume with a knob or something...especially handy when I need to change the volume quickly. My question is: Is there a cable that would run between my soundcard output and my amp that would have a volume control knob on it? Do they even make a contraption like that? And no, I don't want to attempt building my own! 🙂 Eventually I'm going to break down and buy some new Klipsch speakers that I've been eyeing so I won't have this problem....but in the meantime a suggestion on where I could something like this (if it even exists) would be great!
