How do I configure my Volume Control to remember settings? I have a TV tuner card, and whenever I start up the TV program, I have to open up the Volume Control Panel and increase the line-in balance, it is always at zero.
 
This is usually the default set by your TV card. Check your TV card on how to change the startup volume level. By the way, the reason they set this to zero is that if you have the volume up high, you could damage your speakers & other sound components when the TV cardfirst comes on and makes those loud noise or feedfack.
