Volume button disappeared!

I'm running Win98... the volume panel at the bottom right disappeared. How do I get it back? I still have sound though.

Can anyone help? thanks!

Go to the sounds and multimedia control panel and put a check mark in "enable the audio icon on task bar" check box ( the exact name of the check box might be different -- it has been a long time since I putzzed around with 98).
