Hey, ive got speedfan and i noticed voltages at the bottom and i got no idea whats bad/good with voltages. They read :
+3.3V= 3.31V
+5V= 5.05V
+12V= 11.92V
-12V= 12.61V
-12V= -5.15V
+5VSB= 5.46V
VBAT= 0.00V
Are these bad or good? and why?

Look pretty good, the -12V and +5VSB are just slightly out of the "5% Voltage Range" but I guess if you're not having any problems, then there's no need for concern, IMO.

my voltages don't seem to be too good :confused: they are as following

+3.3 = 2.59
+5 = 4.97
+12 = 11.73
-12 = =6.6
-5 = -1.32

I have an Antec TrueBlue 480, what do you think the problem is? How can I fix it?

Yikes, thetman. Your +3.3v rail is scary low. Don't put any stock into the -5v or -12v rails. They're not in use on a modern computer.

I'd RMA the unit.

Re: the OP - I'm not sure what +5VSB is, but your other rails look good.

Soviet: are those at idle or at load? If that is under load, then that is good. If it's idle, then it's above average.

To test this do i just use the BIOS hardware monitor or are you guys doing it some other way... will post mine soon...

Here it is :(

+3.3 = 3.32
+5 = 4.89
+12 = 12.54

My Vcore is also being overvolted
i have it set at 1.8 yet it is reading at 1.856!?!?

thetman, my board reports the vdimm not the 3.3v on mbm5 and I think on aida; can't remember exactly with the latter. You running an epox? Either way that looks like a dmm voltage maybe.

the only real way to know your voltage is to actually take out a multi meter and test it.

in MBM5 mine read out at:

12V - 11.4
5V - 4.5
3.3V 3V
and vcore is always low

I test the 12V with my multi and it tested out at 12.04
and my 5V tested out at 5.02

this is with a Tru430

I haven't found a way to test my actual vcore or my 3.3 but seeing how my 5v and my 12v are dead on I'm much more comfortable and just ignore the lowness of those other two as crappy motherboard readings

Original Voltages with Seasonic 300W
+3.3V= 3.31V
+5V= 5.05V
+12V= 11.92V
-12V= 12.61V
-5V= -5.15V
+5VSB= 5.46V
VBAT= 0.00V

Ive been planning to replace it for some time now to be safe and my first truepower 430 blew up so i got a second one today and these are the voltages.

New voltages with Antec Truepower 430:
+3.3V= 3.30V
+5V= 5.03V
+12V= 12.10V
-12V= 12.36V
-5V= 5.15V
+5VSB= 5.62
VBAT= 0.06V

All read from speed fan, has there been an improvement at all? i didnt expect anything big but i got no idea if more is better or less worse etc so which is the better of the two readings and by how much?

Btw these are all idle.

You really should take voltage readings from your motherboard with a grain of salt. Always use a multi reader to really test voltages.
