voltage on the XP

I was just wondering if the core voltage for the Xp1700 is 1.75. I just installed one on my asus av7 266e, and the voltage defaults to 1.8 no matter what i do. I tried changing the jumpers on the board and stilll stayed 1.8. I tried changing the CPU and the voltage still stays 1.8. Actually it gives me 3 choices. 1.8, 1.825, 1.8. Any idea whats wrong???

I most certainly do.....If you put the latest bios on there (1005, or 1006) it will show up with the correct voltage, however this may be cosmetic, as the bios will tell you the core voltage (according to hardware monitoring) is ~1.74, the asusprobe utility in windows reports it as ~1.82......so take it for what its worth....it shouldnt harm your cpu.....click here....this link is very valuable for a7v owners. i have a question for you now....if you shut the computer down and remove the power cable, do your bios settings stick, or do they reset back to the default?... and also, are you able to choose 256MB as a graphics aperature size in the bios....mine will only go up to 128 (even though i have 512 MB RAM)....let me know....thanks
