I ahve a friend that just got a Nforce2 athlonxp 2200+ 512kb of ram, he put it together with the rest of the stuff form his old comp and its running fine but he ahs a question about the core voltage and since i have no idea im asking you guys.

He has a program monitoring his voltage and he said that it is telling him that the voltage on the -12v lead is saying -7v and wants to know if it will be a problem
So... is it normal or what?

thanx

Ignore it.

The -5 and -12 lines are not used anymore.

I've rarely seen a motherboard or application that reads the - values correctly anyway.

It's not so much that their not used.... maybe their not... but I think they might be for something... but it's that the NForce 2 does NOT read these lines. There is no voltage reading for them on the NF2... atleast I think it's all NF2.. at least my A7N8X doesnt read them.
