my voltages on psu are 12.038 / 5.107/ 3.44 / 1.6
my mobo is p4p800-se
512 ddr pc 3200 samsung copper heatsink ram with pc 2700 512 ddr ram
my cpu is northwood p4 2.4ghz running at 2.88ghz right now
voltages are 1.54 to 1.62 right now
my video card is evga 6600GT Agpx8 500/900 i dont got temp monitor so i dont know
if i should oc that plz give any suggestions that u can
at those voltages would it be safe to push my cpu to 3.0ghz?

Um, why risk it? for 120 MHz. I'd be more worried about the fact that you have only 512mb RAM. That will by far increase your performance more than the extra 120 MHz on your processor, and it won't damage anything either. Just my $.02.

I've seen others pushing their voltages to 1.8 V. but that is them and not you. You can try oc'ing small step at a time until the system becomes unstable. Then raise the voltage .1 V at a time until you reach 1.8 V or the temps on the cpu go higher than 60C. This is probably your limitation or the ram limitation. But don't forget, with additional 512 mb on your ram may give the same performance boosts as going from 2.88 Ghz to 3.0 Ghz on your cpu without any compromise or risk except for more $$$

Remove the PC2700 first and then try increasing the cpu to 3.0 ghz. If it's unstable increase the vcore .1V at a time. If it's still unstable the cpu has reached its limits.
