Hi Friends,

I am using E5200 with G31 S2L, 2GB Kingston 800 mhz, 500 gb hdd from seagate, LG DVD writer along with Bijli cabinet and with its default 450w smps.

I overclocked my pc using various settings and reading temp and voltage in different intervals from 2.8 ghz to 3.3 ghz. I disabled EIST settings and increasing fsb to 260-280 from the default settings of 200 with 12.5x multiplyer. I also disabled the fan and it is now running at its full speed. I hv tested it with occt, fanspeed, core temp. and with everest.

I would request you all to kindly tell me if the settings, voltages and temperatures i am using are correct and if you can suggest me ways to lower them further.

Some pictures are not upto the mark and i am really very sorry for that.

These pictures are taken at all the default settings of the bios when the pc is not overclocked.

Some other tests done by me on overclocking are given in the enclosed files. Pls hv a look at them and suggest me:

1. WHICH SETTINGS ARE THE BEST FOR MY PC?
2. WHICH SETTINGS WILL USE LOWER VOLTAGES AND LOWER TEMPERATURES?
3. ARE MY VOLTAGES CORRECT?
4. IS MY OVERCLOCK LONG LASTING AND WILL NOT AFFECT THE HEALTH OF MY MOBO OR PROCESSOR IN THE LONG RUN?
5. YOUR SUGGESTIONS?
6. IF ANYONE LIVING IN DELHI, INDIA AND IS WILLING TO HELP ME OVER PHONE, PLS PM ME.

it might help if you actually posted working links

ed: and by working links i also mean posting links to pictures that we can actually read. upload the pics to http://www.imageshack.us and they wont downsize to the point that you cant read what they say anymore.

i have an e5200 as well as a backup rig, so i should be able to help you if i can actually see what you are doing. could you post a CPU-z screenshot as well, so i can compare vs my system.

Basic overclocking for E5xxx:

1. Set 1:1 memory divider where FSB= RAM speed. Manually set RAM timing and voltage to specs. Use the default voltage for NB, SB, and VTT if available. DO NOT use AUTO mode.

2. Set CPU Vcore to 1.36.

3. Set FSB to 255.

If system is Prime95 stable for 3 min, then raise FSB by 2 and retest. Most of these chips should top out around 3.4GHz. A good chip can break 4.0GHz (+320MHz FSB). Once system is stable at a particular CPU core speed, you can change memory divider to raise the speed of your RAM. The ability to overclock RAM is dependent on the quality of the ICs. Noobs should stick with 1:1 memory divider.

First, you really have to change the display. We're in 2009 for god sake. ;)

Temperature is fine and so is the voltage. I don't know why are you so concerned about this. And next time, just tell us what is your max temp and voltage under load, so that we should not start blasting our eyes through 1000 pictures. This is probably why nobody answered your thread by now. Nobody wants to look at so many screenshots.
