I just ordered 4 120mm delta and nidec fans. But they came with bare wires, a black, red, and blue one on each. How do I connect these to my power supply without using a fanbus so that I can save some money and start cooling?

Edit:

I need to connect these fans because I think my processor is running too hot. With no overclocking, my tbird 800 with a Volcano II is idling (5% constant cpu time) at 39 C. I'm using a KT7-Raid and the case temp is only 21 C. I'm using thermal grease, but 38 C seems pretty hot for no overclocking. Is this a normal temp or is the Volcano not doing its job?

Twist the bare wire into a "ball" and insert it into the connector from the power supply.
(Red into yellow, black into black) Quick and easy.

HI
If you twist the wires together and insert them into the plug,,, make sure you cut the ends so the bare part is long enough to go into the plug and not have any bare part showing. If those wires slip out and short out,, your power supply might just die!!!!

For the sake of your computer as well as all that is good and nobel in the world, go to radioshack and get some connectors. Do it right.
Here is a chart of the power connector:

________

`------`
wires are
+12,gnd,gnd,+5

HI

If I may add to Azratax's post.
The yellow lead is the +12 volt
and
the red lead is the +5 volt.
