Volcano II , Mini Copper Orb

I've heard that The volcano II is better than the Mini Copper Orb, If so why does it cost less ?

price doesn't mean everything. Why does a P4 cost more than an Athlon? 😉

The whole ORB series are POS in my opinion. The Volcano2 is an OK heatsink if you want something quiet, and it's cheap. If you want something better, take a look at Taisol (CGK760), Alphas, Global Win, Thermoengine, etc...

My Volcano II does a pretty good job. Duron 900@980, 140FSB.

i have them both. Mini Copper Orb is quieter, but they coool just about the same.

So, mini copper orb is better...silence is fundamental!

Someone already tried the new Dragon orb...it seems great!
