Volcano II and 80mm fan expanders?

I've got a Volcano II sitting here on my parts shelf and I just took a look at it. I say "yes," it should accomodate an 80mm fan expander without a problems.
 
Dan are you really sure.I have one in my PC I've took a look at it as well and I don't think it will fit.

I'm almost sure a 60mm fan expander it will fit.

To be absolute sure about the fan expander double check with them.
 
BTW is the 80mm Sunon a good choice for an 80mm fan for the expander?
I want to get good performance but, I don't want a lot of noise.
 
If you don't wanna use a Delta because is too loud or a Panaflo then use a Sunon.
But the max performance you'll gain with Delta followed by Panaflo and after that Sunon.

Sunon: 36 CFM @ 2800 rpm, 32.5 dBA
Panaflo :39.6 CFM @2800rpm 35 dBA
As you can see Panaflo is a little bit louder but a little bit better
