VOIP - should I make a switch or not?

I'd like to switch my business phone line to a VOIP provider and get a suite of cool features like virtual attendant, hold music, remote voice mail checks, notifications, etc. But I'm not up to date on what's going on in the VOIP world. I remember Vonage was hurting big time, and SunRocket or some other VOIP provider closed for good.

How are they now? Is it safe to switch?

It was never not safe to switch. Vonage settled their patent cause last year. Sun rocket did not service businesses.

I bet it's like when you call customer support and hear "Press one for totally useless service...." Something like that
