VOIP phone setup

Hi

I am quite new to the field of VOIP and we need to setup some VOIP phones on the LAN of an office.

The LAN is already configured for the entire building and we get internet from the wall sockets PoE ports basically.

There were already some IP phones connected, with one cable from wall to phone and from the phone to a PC.

I have to connect

- more IP phones and PCs
- Windows Server PC
- Switch

Any advice on the setup required?
1) Do I need a PoE, QoS enabled switch? Do I need Cisco Switch?

2) Do I need to setup VLANs for Data and Voice? Do I need to know the network topology used by the building?

Any help appreciated.
