Ok so I finally got my new cellphone in the mail yesterday and had it activated today and I've been playing around with all the new goodies my old phone didn't have. So far voice dial is the coolest. :p It's so neat. I just say a name twice to program it and after that I just press the voice dial button then say that person's name and it calls them. :D

The phone is a used LG VX-4400 I got off ebay. I didn't realise how "used" it was though. It looks like someone beat the sh|t out of it. It's really banged up. I guess I get what I pay for though. It was only $120. It's still a really cool phone though. Much better than my free Kyocera phone.

I'd feel stupid talking at my phone in order to call someone. I'd rather just press one of the speeddial buttons.

Ding Ding Ding Teh Winnar

What's the point in voice dial when you have to press a button anyway? It's poser value and it's not even good for that, a chocolate teapot is probably slightly more useful

Edited for typo

Allows you to make calls while you are driving without having to scroll through names... type in the number, etc. Nice making yourself look like an idiot though.

Oh dear how wrong can you be? How many voice dials can you store in the average phone? (and how many work with the noise of driving?) I think you'll find speeddial is easier and more reliable for the regular calls you make in your car. Voicedial is a pointless feature added on to sell phones to idiots like you :)

I've heard worse ideas than that. I had a roommate last year that must have thought it was cool, because I'd be sitting there watching TV and he'd be yelling into his phone "NATE CELL NATE CELL NATE CELL" until it finally worked.
