Voice Commander. . . . over a network

This has been a project I've been thinking about but really don't know quite how to go about it. Honestly, I don't even know how viable the whole thing is. I have a program called voice commander, which does exactly what its namesake says. It will perform commands for me via voice control. Simple things such as pressing a button, ctrl-x keys, etc. Simple so far right?

Is there a way to send microphone/voice commands to a remote machine? Keep in mind that the microphone will be plugged to the host machine and not the remote machine. Not so easy now?

I didn't know where to post this but I'm planning on a dual box setup for WoW. My host computer would be controlling my main account, while my spare account will be controlled via voice command. I think it will work, however my setup differs greatly from what others define as a typical setup. My host computer and remote computer are far far apart. There's no physical way to have a microphone line extend that far away to the remote machine. Are there any network tools that will allow me to send a voice command over a network, instead??

Please help.

I got an idea, but I need some verification. Ok . . . I use the voice command software, Skype, and VNC. Assuming I have all three software components installed . . . After setting up a few voice commands at the remote system (in person) I set my default input for the system to be my "line in" on the sound card. I run a male to male 35mm stereo connector from the output to my input. I call in using Skype and have the voice commander software running in the foreground. After connecting, I simply say the command and the whole thing should work. My voice output is routed to the soundcard's input which is "defaulted" and used by the voice commanding software. I would use VNC to verify the whole setup is working. What do ya think, guys?

Since no one seems to have responded. it works. . . . The difference is I set the computer to respond to "what u hear" as apposed to a line in setup.
