VM?

Well... I don't know, do you need a virtual machine for something you want to keep separate from your main install?
 
I'm not sure if PPC even supports virtualization but if it does, its a good idea for the reasons given in the article you linked. If none of that applies to what you are doing (ie you aren't coding server apps) then you may not have a real use for VMs on that box.
 
Thanks guys; i thought i could install another linux os along side of debian wheezy ppc,but i think Debian linux on imac ppc won't let me,
