Hardware:
Ryzen 7800XT
32GB DDR5
RX 6700 XT
ASUS B650 TUF GAMING (latest BIOS)
I'm getting about 2FPS with Blu-ray films that I've ripped in software, H.265 12-bit format. There's no excessive CPU/GPU usage, I've tried flicking between hardware acceleration modes in VLC, no difference. Other BRs I've ripped (H.265 not 12-bit) are fine, DVDs I've ripped are fine. I do the ripping with Handbrake in Windows, and if I boot into Linux and watch them with VLC, it works fine.
I've also tried playing with Windows's own option for using which GPU with which app (as my system shows the onboard GPU as well as the 6700 XT), no difference.
It sounds to me like a bug in the win64 release of VLC (I'm using the latest version), but I wondered if anyone here has had similar experiences and maybe fixed them.
