VLC 2.0 freezes when the mouse moves

Hi folks,

I just tried the new VLC today, and I was very disappointed.

The computer is not too old: it's an i5 650, with 4 GB of RAM, running XP SP3 32-bit.

I found that whenever the mouse moves during full-screen playback, the video freezes, then becomes all blocky, and resumes a couple of seconds later.

This happens with files of various sizes and formats (from 1080 mp4 to 480p avi).

Back to 1.1.11 release, which is stable and reliable.

Am I the only one experiencing this issue?

I'm running XP SP3 with a much older system than you (less than a GB of RAM) and I do not have that issue with 2.0.

i have issues with 2.0 as well, i went back to 1.1.9 because with 2.0 no matter what i play it defaults to full screen stretched across both my monitors and makes itself the wallpaper playing outside the VLC window, unchecking that wallpaper option causes it to crash
