my bad i didn't ask this to get a new tv as i already have 3 Vizio 3D TVs but just to see why ppl say vizio is like a chine brand tv ?

I'm guessing they say it because virtually everything electronic is being outsourced to China for cost savings.

Most of the technology on more expensive TVs is wasted anyway. I have a Samsung LCD TV that was quite expensive but I never use the features like 100Hz picture smoothing or DLNA streaming that they used to market the TV in the first place. I probably would have been better off getting a Vizio or something instead.

Vizios offer the same bells and whistles, and their top end sets are quite expensive as well. You can get a barebone Samsung the same way you can get a barebone Vizio.

What they need to make is a TV with the high end PQ features and without all the widget/DLNA crap.

Oh wait, its a called a projector....
