hi im a relative newbie when it comes to computers and im planning to build one in a few months

So i was just wondering if neone could tell me what Vivo is since it seems to make some cards more expensive than others
 
VIVO abbreviates Video In / Video Out

basically you can take most any video source and input it to your video card.

ie: you can record TV shows by hooking the output of your VCR to the input of your video card, or copy VHS tapes for burning onto DVD/VCD etc...

I like using it to record sports I might otherwise miss.

i was contemplating whether or not to go with a sapphire x800xl or powercolor and now the obvious choice is powercolor
but i will still wait for the prices to drop
