Can you watch a DVD on your Television through your comp if you have a DVD rom & a vid card that has Vidio in & Vidio Out? I'm kinda new in this area and am thinking of upgrading my comp with a little more intertainment options.

You can with the ATI vivo and All in Wonder cards, the Radeon models have excellent 3d acceleration as well as excellent DVD playback.

Anything you can see on your desktop, you can see on your TV, so games without small text are good as well. I have a freedom pro cordless keyboard and mouse as well, so you can sit on the couch, and use them as remotes!

FPS look awesome on TV, I ran the Unreal castle demo thing on the TV, looked so good. The only bad thing is whatever refresh/resolution you run on the TV is what you have to run on your monitor too, and the max you can do is 800x600 @ 60 Hz (because of the TV).

Yea, the TV output gives it a poor man's FSAA quality that makes that 800x600 tolerable. Games like Championship Surfer and Boarderzone look real nice too!
