I haven't found any reviews for this particular model, but as I understand it, Vivitar cameras are notorious for going through batteries.

IMO you might be better off getting a quality 2MP camera than a lower quality 5MP camera. User reviews on this camera are not glowing.

Couldn't agree more. I'd take a Canon A60 over this any day.
