I've been a member of this since May 2001. I have received NO invitations to participate in anything. As far as I'm concerned, it's a scam to get your email/ demographic info.

Actually, I like this company. They send me a survey every few months that lets me complain about how much Microsoft's web site sucks, and a get a $15 Amazon.com gift certificate for the privledge! :)

Here's another Vividence invite from Microsoft to evaluate four of their community sites for a $15 Amamzon GC. You should get a popup from Microsoft's homepage asking if you want to join, but if you don't or clicked 'cancel' earlier, here's the link:

I signed up this afternoon and had an eval invitation waiting for me when I got online tonight. Completed the eval and immediately got the GC by email. It'll go nice with the $40 GC Vividence gave me last week for doing a Compaq/IBM eval!

I like Vividence as well. It's one of the few survay sites that actually pay me well and often. YMMV, since it is luck-of-the-draw based on your demographics, but I've earned over $150 worth of Amazon GCs over the past 1 1/2 years by signing up with them and evaluating websites.

i finally got another invitation to vividence, when i logged on i noticed that there were several surveys that i apparently qualified for but never got an invite (they showed up as closed on my screen).

so i think that youll only get periodic invites, and that if youre really serious about snagging a bunch of surveys you might want to login for yourself every so often. thats my experience anyways

i wish i had known that earlier....woudla been like $50 worth of amazon gc! :)

I've done a bunch of "test drives" for Vividence (most recently for Newsweek's web site). They used to be kind of slow about sending out the gift certificates, but lately they've gotten better. I received the last one within a day of completing the survey.
