I ordered one on 04/18 and have not received one yet. Order status indicated Back Ordered with 04/18/05 date and Issue with Order with 04/28/05 date. Both appear when I view order summary. No response from their customer service either...

Where did you go to check up on the order status?

I ordered but was charged shipping. I guess your Messenger ID will tell them if you're an MSN subscriber.
I'm using Express for now. I have VS.net 2002 so it would pay to upgrade when the retail becomes available.
Was there a greater change from 2002 to 2003 or from 2003 to 2005?
Thanks, OP.

Thanks OP, I got an email about this a while back and ordered, about 2 months ago. Still waiting and hoping.

1. 2005 is bigger change over 2003 than 2003 was over 2002.

2. Could not have ordered this 2 months ago- Beta 2 was not released then!

3. Order confirmation email has a link to lookup order status.

4. Got email back from Microsoft customer service, there is a 4-6 week delay in shipping these out.

SOOB! What BS answers did I need to avoid shipping. Oh, well, I guess I'll just have to buy the Academic version when it comes out. **Grumbles to himself "put it in my @ss will they" grumbles some more**
Oh, well, it's free. :)

Got mine on Tuesday. Also comes with a 365-day release of SQL 2005 (which integrates a TON with .NET 2.0).

Good stuff. ASP.NET 2.0 is some impressive stuff.

I got it a couple of days ago. The full version is much better than the Express editions since it has backwards .NET 1.0/1.1 compatibility, and 64-bit support on the DVD. :D Finally a decent (& kind of free) 64-bit compiler for Windows.

Yep i got it too. Considering it was free this is awesome. Im about to go to DevCon at the end of this month. This will help me get ready. Even if i had to pay for shipping i most likely would have ordered it

I got mine also. Will this install over Visual Studio 2003 or will it be a separate program? I want to install it but I want to make sure I can still use VS2003 for my normal production coding.
