Vista vs Win 7 GPU performance

Good to see that both Nvidia and AMD have respectable Win 7 performance compared to Vista. Hopefully that means that early Win 7 adopters won't have too many performance hurdles to contend with.
 
Looks good, I just had Windows 7 on my machine but took it off because of too many stupid little bugs. No a complaint since its beta but I appreciate vista a little more now after that. 😛

Gaming seemed fine in Windows 7, though my 3dmark Vantage score went from ~8400 in Windows 7 to 9100 in Vista. Haven't tried anything else out yet.
 
I've been gaming on Win7 since it came out and have been pleased for the most part. Although I get this issue with some games not running properly in fullscreen mode.
 
Things are looking pretty good thus far. Could be better, but time will tell.

Hopefully things go well enough to warrant an upgrade from the XP I'm still using.
 
aren't they the same core win7 and vista, except win7 is more streamlined. so i would expect similar results probably it just uses current vista drivers for most stuff.
 
those are really amazing results. looks like things will be perfect by the time of the official release.
