Vista using heavy resources?

Is window vista still using alot of your computer's resources? I have low specs and I am worry but can some check if I could use window vista.

1024 gigs of ram
Nvidia geforce 6150 graphics
Amd dual core processors

You'll be fine. Bare minimum I'd recommend to run vista with full features is p4 2.0/AXP 2000+, 1gb, DX9 video.

Without aero glass and a few optional features, you'd be able to get by with 1.0ghz and 512mb for general office/email stuff, but forget about any type of gaming but online flash. 😛

As far as vista vs. XP, aside from using a bit more RAM (most of which is taken up by optional features which can be disabled), Vista runs as well if not better than XP on the same spec.
