Just curious.

I'll start:
Intel prescott 2.8 @ 3.15
2GB of RAM DDR 3200 @ 440 I think?
ATI X800
Old Raptor 37GB X2 RAID0.

Windows Experience Index 4.3 - whatever it means...😕

5.3
Basically it tallys your system against a base score of 1.0 and then gives a rating. The overall score is simply the lowest score you achieved out of them all. Soon alot of software will not have system requirements listed on the box in detail anymore. It will simply say "you need a windows experience rating of 3.0 to use this software but we recommend 4.5 for the best experience." or something along those lines.

It's easier for people who have no iea how much memory they have, what type of video card they have, how fast their CPU is. Most people buying Dell etc really wouldn't know all the little details.

I know, I just want to see what hardware combo+ what score...
nice computer btw.

Now that Nvidia updated their drivers, 5.9 (which is the current 'max' score).

Only reason my score is 5.3 is because I'm using a 7200rpm basic SATA drive. No RAID, no raptor. I don't need a fast HDD.

WEI scores are kinda dumb, since i've seen some retardedness where lower systems get better numbers than higher end ones, but it's a decent general indicator...

MY SCORES SCREENSHOT

I wonder why I only got 5.7 on the CPU. I'd think it should be 5.9. It's an e6600 @ 3.4GHz

I guess my HD's are 5.5 because one is a Seagate IDE 7200 and theyre not in raid.

Video Card is just a simple 1650XT actually surprised it got 5.5

4.8 overall

4.8 cpu - opteron 170 @ 2.0ghz
5.9 memory - 2x1GB PC 3200
5.9 graphics - 7900 GTO
5.9 gaming graphics - 7900 GTO
5.2 primary hdd - 2x 160GB 7200 rpm 2mb cache IDE drives.

The video card scores are very wack IMO.

Also, your CPU score is fine.

You pretty much need quad core to get 5.9
