Vista SATA drivers?

Of course, for some controllers, others will still require drivers from the manufacturer.

well I got the nVidia nForce4 chipset, with a 150g raptor, do you think I will have any issues?

thanks

No idea really, my only Vista install was inside of VMWare. Supposedly Vista allows you to use drivers on media other than floppies during the install now, so make sure your drivers are on a USB stick or something and you should be fine even if they're not included.

I'll check when I get home for ya. I'm running an nForce4 myself with dual raptors. I was able to get installed with inbox drivers just fine. I can't remember if I'm using the nVidia SATA controller or the Silicon Graphics controller on my board though so this answer is partial.

I would think he'd be fine running from the nForce. The SI would need drivers. I've got a Raptor RAID 0 array recongnized on a Vista dual boot with XP drivers. This on an integrated Promise controller.
