Vista RDP

Vista U 32, joined to a win2k3 domain.

We have added a domain user (non admin) to the "remote desktop users" locally on the vista machine (although it shows up as a SID in the list). When you attempt to RDP into the vista machine as that normal user, it gives an error about adding the user to the Terminal Server or Remote Desktop Users group (which we have done).

Anyone seen this before/know a quick solution? I'm off to search Technet now, but thought I would throw this out to this crowd first.

Hmm, if it's showing up as an unresolved SID, that sounds like there's some communication issues.

Does the client have DNS configured correctly?

Yes, but as I was looking, it appears there may be a computer account issue on the DC. I am removing/readding the machine right now. Does Vista freak out if there are more then 2 machines in the same domain with the same SID? (these were imaged). I have never had an issue with XP, 2k, or 2k3 machines with matching SID's joining the domain, as long as the DC's have unique SID's (don't match clients)
