1: how is memory management in vista changed? i remember reading somewhere that even if you installed 4gb of ram it would still be a good idea to keep virtual memory on since it is an integral part of xp's memory manager. is vista as reliant on virtual memory? also how much ram is allocated to the kernel under vista.
2:a cost analysis of windows vista content protection is this article (rant?) discredited, accepted, praised or ignored? are half the doom scenarios likely to happen or be really significant. is there hardware out there that has tilt bits? how does all this work in real life? let's say i don't have an hd drive and downloaded an hd trailer and played in vista. would i have any problems and would my hardware be polled every frame or every 30ms?
