For some reason whenever I try and take my PC out of hibernation mode it locks up. The screen stays black and I have to restart. My rig is in my sig. Any suggestions?

Edit: Actually I cannot edit my system rig in my sig so I will just till you guys.

sounds like an xp problem to be honest. i havent had any such issues with sleep or hibernate in vista. havent heard much problems either. i guess you first check your monitor and video card drivers, then make sure your mainboard bios is up to date as well as the power settings in the bios are set right. wish i could help more, these kind of problems are usually easily fixed or never fixed at all....

I had a similar problem in that the hard drive would shut off after so long as a power saving feature. I just disabled it so I dont have that issue anymore.
