Image Two:
After A few minutes I says this.

However it says I'm connected but the internet will not load.

So.. I start typing this post in notepad for AT while I try to fix the problem.
This is my Network and Sharing Center.

I click "Connect to a network" however, it shows me this:

I click Broadband connection. + it brings in a login screen. I dont have to login w/my ISP.

So then I can start over! I go back into my Network and Sharing Center.
Wow, then after 10 minutes of doing absolutly nothing, my internet starts working..

WTF! How can I fix this? I'm quite sick of it. This happens everytime. I restarted my computer, and came back 10 minutes later.. and it worked.. Im waiting all this time to connect to the internet. What's wrong??

Are there any obvious time gaps in your startup events? Any errors thrown in your events?

Don't worry, the Internet is working just fine. It's just your connection to the Internet thats having problems.

No errors... *sigh* Unfixable huh? Biggest  on Vista is there is no: Connect to the Internet that is always on. (And doesn't require a login).

What can I do *pleads*

There is a known TCP windows scaling issue with Vista. The issue is windows now supports tcp window scaling correctly (XP did not) but many routers which SHOULD be supporting this standard break.

Check your router's website to see if there is a firmware upgrade available.

Which version of Vista? I had a problem with the first public beta making me repair my connection every time I logged on bus Beta 2 and the public release candidate worked fine.

At this point all the Vista posts (we presume) are regarding release. We won't be answering (well, at least i won't be, and I doubt others as well) questions around rc's or beta's.

What NIC card are you using? Have you tried reinstalling the drivers for it?

NIC card??

I downloaded the lastest firmware.

My Version of Windows: Vista Business (Got it in the mail from Windows 2 days ago).

I found something that said I had to disable my SCI. I discovered my router (WRT54GS) is one of the routers Vista "doesnt like".. Now I need to disable my SCI.. but the option isn't in my routers options.. *Sigh*
