Vista Home Premium OEM (ROSE)

Hey all,

I am looking to upgrade my CPU/RAM and figured I'll make the move to Vista. Anyway, while at the shops browsing for hardware earlier, I noticed that there is this version which is ever so slightly cheaper.

I'm in Malaysia atm, if that changes anything. Non-ROSE, OEM versions retail for RM 309 while OEM (ROSE) retails for RM 289. As I mentioned, the price is very close and the shopkeeper said he was not sure as well.

Probably this special "Malaysia Only" OEM Vista Home Premium edition.

It has new packaging and a rose-colored COA sticker. "Licensed for Distribution in Malaysia Only" on the CD, COA, manual and packaging. Also, a Geo-locking feature that restiricts Activation to Malaysia.'

In exchange for the Activation restriction, you got a small discount.
