Vista - Control Panel Not Accessible

I just installed vista and the last thing I updated were the creative sound drivers for my X-Fi XtremeGamer card. Now, I can't access the control panel. If I do, the window pops up briefly, and then disappears.

Any ideas?

seriously, look for CPL files

appwiz.cpl for example should open add/remove programs.

with some tweaking you could remove creative's control panel item and make all others work.
