Vista - automatic wake from sleep

Vista's sleep mode is fast, 9 sec down, 9 up.

But my computer will wake from sleep on its own, could take 1 min, or sometimes 16 hours. Is there a fix for this? I been using the standard sleep, not hybrid sleep (sleep _ hibernation).
 
The same was happening to me. I went into device manager, and went into properties for my mouse/keyboard (you may need to do this for any USB device, ie printer, etc) and unchecked the box titled "allow this device to wake computer from sleep." That solved it for me. If that doesn't work for you, you may have to play with your bios power management settings.
