Vista 32-bit & 4gb RAM

For my new build I will be using a Asus P5Q and 4gb of G-skil RAM. At the moment I only have Vista Enterprise 32-bit available. I will have access to 64-bit however as soon as I return to school (our IT department only has a loaner CD for Vista 64-bit and you can't order one through them).

My question is whether or not Vista will have any conflicts with the 4gb of RAM? I know it will only see 3gb or so, but will the system slow down b/c of it?
