Vista 32 / 64 on same computer with same key

Could I install both Vista 32 and Vista 64 on to the same computer via a dual boot system using one key?

I have to use Vista 32 for telecommuting to work but I would prefer to use Vista 64 for my home purposes, and just boot back and forth as needed.

Is this doable?

Thanks.

It may work but it's a violation of the license.

how???

I think its ok with the license but it will be a pain activating over and over.

vm is a better solution or better yet get win 7 pro. Which comes with a xp license to run inside of win7.

If 7 is out of the question, i would run vista 64 and vista 32 inside a vm. But with the vm run unactivated, for the 120 days.

Until you have to activate, then i would reinstall vista 32 in the vm...

You may officially run a vista ultimate (maybe also business, not sure, but I doubt it) copy in a VM on the same computer with the same license key. That way, there wont be any activation issues either (I've had to reactivate my VM copy numerous times, as well as the host installation over the years and never encountered any troubles).

Doing this with the home premium version of vista ist a violation of the license.
