Visor Owners - Where does it save your backuped address book on your PC?

Recently, I let the batteries die in my visor, which resulted in it being reset to factory settings. I put fresh ones in, synced it, and found my address book was not restored. I can't seem to find it on my PC either. My date book restored fine, but for some reason the address book did not. I found one dated 5/29/01, but it won't backup to that one, even though I've added addresses to it since then and synced it. Any idea where it's stored on my pc and if there's a way to force the restore of it? Thanks!

Mr Bond, mine is in the Palm/myName /address folder. The data is address.dat the backup is address.bak, you can always make a copy of address.bak then rename it to address.dat, this should give you all your address and when you sync, sould restore the address onto the Visor.

Hmmm. Strange indeed, as it's not restoring the address.dat it has on file, it just keeps syncing the one from the factory. It's not overrighting address.bak either.

I'm wondering if something got confused in the switch to XP, which in that case, I'll be missing about 6 months of addresses. Oh well, live and learn
