Does this card work with Windows NT ? I was about to purchase the Radeon 7000 PCI, but it doesn't support Win NT 4, according to specs. This card will be great if it is supported.

yes this card will work in NT with drivers from Nvidia.com

edit: and the older drivers the come in the box too

Sweet, got into this deal. Purchase up to April 30th. Got it for about 41 after MIR ($52 + 8.44 shipping). Not a bad deal and also Lifetime warrantly from VisionTek. You can use the rebate form if you can find the card cheaper somewhere else before April 30th. This would be a nice upgrade for systems without a AGP slot. 🙂 Thanks again for the post!!!!

BTW, rebate form is also valid for the VisionTek MX400 AGP version.

Another retail box

Here is the AGP for $55.00 So I got an AGP for $42.36 plus a stamp after the rebate..😀

Thanks for the rebate marill999

I have bought from this place before.. No problems.

I am installing this card in a Gateway 6400 right now.
I got it from Sybercom. With shipping it was $74.26 - $20 (rebate)

The rebate I found said it was for model: xtasy 5564

just something i've been wondering about, for PCI video cards... they should work on ANY motherboard right? there's no restriction like on AGP cards like 1x,2x,4x etc... right?

the one from price grabber says it has tv out... has anyone ordered from this place and can confirm that it has tv out? i really need tv out! heheh

the xtasy 5564 does not have TV out 🙁
So far this is a GREAT pci card. Just installed the latest nvidia driver and got a 3dmark 2001se score of 2089 (32bit/1024x768/85Hz). Not too shabby for pci at $54 AR!!!!

Hey, that's my post from fw...

BTW, could've ripped the shipping cost: 8-9 bucks. Pretty good.

Thanks for the deal, I went with Essential Computer from pricewatch.com because they are in NY and I don't have to pay tax. Total was $77 - $20 rebate = $57!

whoohoo, been looking for one of these for my GW6400 to replace my radeon VE. Maybe I'll run both and add a second monitor.

Beware of ENPC's returns, however.

My friend and I preordered a Geforce 3 back in early October, about 2 weeks before it shipped. My friend got his on time, but I didn't get mine until mid December. By that time, I did not want the card, so I cancelled the order and had it sent back.

The gentleman at the RMA department gave me a lot of hassle refunding the money for it. They shipped the card from California, even though their business is out of New York (perhaps they shipped directly from a distributor?)... To cancel an order that had already shipped, I was instructed to reject the package from UPS and return to the sender. Of course, it went back to the shipper in CA and once the package got there, ENPC denied receiving it. It took about a month to get them to approve my return, where I got my money back minus shipping charges.

I personally would not recommend ENPC based on my experience there. Though this isn't a preorder type of deal, I would beware of their return policy. There are other customers who had similar problems on resellerratings.com as well.

If you are sure this is what you want, go for it. I used to have an AGP Visiontek Geforce2 MX400, and it was an excellent card - while it's not the latest chipset, it does perform. Great find for the price!

Thanks to all who posted info here. I'm going with the Shentech AGP for a friend's econo-gamebox.

Nice listing of the rebates (Canadian site, but they all go to New Rochelle, NY).

To xDrAGoNx: no problem, I've even used PCIs with onboard video mobos for a dually setup.

well, after fixing a small problem in the computer, it is a Gateway 6400, the 3dmark score is now 2424!!!!!
kickin' but and takin' names!!! 😀😀😀

This is a great card. I am running with 2x piii 933's and w2k.
