Have you left visitor messages in people's profiles or gotten any in yours? Anything interesting or just stupid stuff?

I don't see any...over 100 visitors and no one wants to say anything .

No, I prefer to think of the visitor message feature as something that's on a more personal level which a smaller population of people visit. There are only a few special instances that it should have (honest) use for.

If it's a discussion between two people they ought to go take it to PM or IM.

its an option you need to turn on in user CP - settings - options

Noobs, go to your user options and uncheck the box that says something like "limit visitor messages to contacts and friends only".

Haha, it doesn't really matter I guess, just find it odd. I never really click on anyone's profile unless one of these threads comes up.
