Apparently they corrected their prices. The online price is $399 for the TI4600 and $179 for the MX. For some reason the TI4600 page took a while to load on BB's website. ;)

Still, I don't even want one. I got my GF3 only a few months ago I can't afford to upgrade video cards every 3 months. :Q

BTW - The stock status for the MX is "In Stock".

If you check todays sunday paper... BB is advertising this card for 399.99 -$10=$389.99 for PRE-Orders!!! Yes check page 25 of today's flyer..

IMO, this shelf tag is bogus...

Man I should know better then this but .....

Looking at the pic of the tag he posted, I have observed the following.

A) It can't be a tag from one of the MX cards cause none of them have VIVO (check visiontek site)

B) It does not look like the tag has been digitally altered to reflect a dif model (would require VIVO|model| and well a whole bunch) and it does not look like the price has been altered either. Not to toot my horn but I spend all day in Photoshop and if they altered that tag it is freaking nice work. lol Certainly not impossible but...unless they had another tag with that price on it.....

Now as for the rest of it.... <shrug> I don't know, but sign me up for one at the price. :)

The BB shelf tag above has already been proven to be a fake. The "artist" did even have enough sense to change the UPC code to the correct one for the Ti6400. The correct UPC code for the Ti6400 should have been 784090021403 and the bogus tag has 784090021250 which is the Xtasy GeForce4 MX 440 card that Best Buy does have advertised at $179.99. If you check your Ti6400 presale receipt you will see that it has the correct Ti6400 UPC - 784090021403 .

OT - These people hosting the obvious fradulent statements about BB might want to consider the repercussions of their actions. NONE of the info listed on these sites is accurate except for the fact that BB make a mistake and corrected it. BB never advertised the Ti6400 as available at "special preorder pricing" or $200 off. BB also never charged anyone for any Ti6400 pre-ordered at the $129.99 price.

<< Can you please point to where this has been proven to be fake? >>

Check over at FW. You can also go to any BB store and look at the UPC code on the pre-irder boxes and then the UPC code on the GeForce4 MX 440. You will see that the fake shelf tag is identical to the GeForce4 MX 440 shelf tag with the exception that they changed the GeForce4 MX 440 description to the Ti6400. The other reason is that BB does NOT print shelf tags for preorder products. You can confirm that fact with any BB manager at any BB B&M in your area.

I was in BB last thursday and they had the Geforce4 6400 on the shelf for $179. At first I thought it was the 4600.

This is clearly an assine post. If the poster had taken two minutes to read the information regarding the site, he would have saw this "Also, it appears that the Best Buy "data base error" applies to their print ads as well." This is in regards to the possible lawsuit against Best Buy, and the fact that over 1400 people are still being charged as of the moment, and the order still appears as processing. The fact that this is a pricing error and that the person insists that there is no proof to prove it fake, should be sent on a long vacation.

I think you guys should wise up! I went to my BB B&M and picked it up for $169 no problem today. In fact, I brought along a printout of a scan of a $60 off $90 CompUSSY coupon, so my net price was only $109. Then the box was a little banged up, so after giving the sweet managerette a little rubdown under the counter, she gave me another $25 off. By the time I walked out of there, I had a brand spankin' new VisionTek Xtasy GeForce4 Ti 4600 for $84 (plus sales tax, what a rip off!). Now I'm going to PM it over on my Amex Blue because Joes Garage and PC Componants's web site is advertising it for only $33 with FREE SHIPPING! Of course, YMMV!
