The title says 9500np, but every mention in the description says 9500 Pro. The box picture says Pro as well, but this being CompUSSR who knows for sure? Might be worth a try, plus penny shipping through Sept. 6th.

Well that s*cks. When I posted it was still available, but I did not order. I went out for my morning walk and thought, what the heck, I'll go ahead and order when I get back home. Now OOS. You snooze, you lose I guess.

Wow, I can't beleive how quickly these deals go!

Also I was a little woried about getting a non - pro... but if it were a pro I would be all over it soft mod or not!
Anyway now it says that they are closed (The whold website) I have to leave for classes so I am sure this will be totally dead by the time I get back if it isn't already.

You can't softmod a 9500 Pro. It's the 9500NP on 9700 PCB that can be modded.

Ahh thats too bad. But really this is a good deal either way. you either get a 9500 pro, or a non pro that you might be able to sot mod.

Even if you can't softmod it how well do non pros OC?

Darn, I checked and it is out of stock for me in this area unfortunatley. Just out of curiosity are there any benchmarks out there showing the performance difference between the 8500 and 9500? I want to see if it is really worth upgrading.

I'm heading to the local B&M to see if this price applies there or not. It shows in stock "limited quantities". Should of pulled the trigger online when I had the chance.

Quite well. Before I sold my moddable unit with 3.3ns RAM, the core did 365 without a volt mod and the memory did 290. I've seen 9500NPs with better quality memory go into the low 320s. The volt mod can take the core sky high.

According to Visiontek's website, they don't even list the a 9500 non pro in their products or drivers support.

I went to pricegrabber to do a search and it came with the identical picture of the box as compusa.

Just grabbed one in San Antonio CompUSA for $140 out the door. Flashed Bios and am at core/mem 320/320 and still climbing. Its a great deal on a 9500 Pro, it said $219 on shelf and there were at least 15 just sitting there. Rang up $129.99 and am very pleased, hella faster than my ole 8500 le. FSAA at last. So happy about it I broke my Lurker status to post, this I believe is flaming hot.
