im going to buy a geforce 3 which one should i get the elsa gladic 920 or the visiontek ? and this is only in off topic besuaze no one seems to check my threads anywhere else.
 
depends, give us the prices and ill tell you. if the visiontek is 30$ cheaper id get it. they are all pretty much identical. the elsa may have tv out/in or have those 3d glasses. performance wise they are almost the exact same (1fps more or less@150 fps, so no big deal). if one has features you need get it (like the tv stuff), otherwise just get an oem of the visiontek if it's a lot cheaper.
 
I used a Visiontek Geforce2 GTS, and I hated it (horrible 2d quality, worse than my Radeon and my Creative Labs TNT2U).

Don't know much about their Geforce3.
 
They are very similar cards.

The Elsa offer gives you a seperate Video Module, and you also get an Optimized version of Giants just for their card. In addition, you also get a DVD player with it, and a few other lil extra goodies in the software bundle.

As for the Hercules, I know lots of rumours have been going around, and who knows in the end they may be true, but as far as I have been able to find out, it's not discontinued.

They are sending out their next shipment in the 1st week of August.
