The question is, why? Why not just get a 9500 pro

It depends on what you want. If you are doing any kind of CAD or DCC work then get a 9500 pro and softfiregl that baby. The ti4600 will offer marginally better framerates in games at the cost of some visual quality compared to a 9500 pro. Personally, I'm holding out for a 9500 or 9700 so I can firegl it. It sucks that nvidia finally made quadro's different in hardware.

anyone got it yet ?

For whatever it's worth, I have ordered non-PC-related stuff from them before (a down comforter and a nice Marmot jacket) with good results, as have my friends. They are a reputable vendor and I would order from them again.

Not marmot skin! Marmot, as in the ritzy Gore-Tex jacket maker.

I would highly appreciate any info on how to firegl the 9500 pro or 9700 pro. It seems extremely appealing. Any webpage describe this? Thanks

Why would you want to get this card, with VisionTek being so anti-nVidia now? VisionTek went out of business, somehow manages to be on life support now, or somebody bought it (haven't followed the latest developments). I was lucky to get my GF3 Ti500 RMAd from them after about 4 months, eBayed the sucker the next day, didn't want anything to do with VisionTek. I guess the price is nice, but you may be screwed if the thing breaks - that's the catch for sure.
