I saw this one is marked down at Walmart@Huntington Beach, CA while browsing around with my girl friend tonight.
VisionTeK TI4200 SE 128MB for $125 , regular price is 187.xx .
Only one left though, I didn't buy it since I already have Ti4400, but I think it 's a good price for TI4200, especially without rebate hassle.

Walmart can sometimes have good stuff on clearance. THe key is just to check their electronics section any time you are there.

First computers now video cards? Woah Walmart is getting damn strange, shouldn't they leave it to bestbuy/compusa/microcenter etc. to sell this stuff? It's anm ok, deal not as good as the 90 dollar one by BFG on black friday was though :)

OT I know, but could people please stop referring to BFG and visiontek as the same company? They are DIFFERENT COMPANIES. The technical staff that had worked for a failing corporation were fired from it, and decided to start their own. The new company is BFG. The visiontek name lives on as a partner/brandname(noone knows which) for ATI.

I recently heard an announcement that Wal-Mart had decided that they are going to drastically increase the size of their electronics departments in an effort to compete directly with the Circuit Citys and Best Buys of the world. In the same breath they mentioned they will begin selling used cars (similar to Circuit City's Carmax) and Home Improvement stuff like a Menards or a Home Depot.

Businessweek article on Wal-Mart Plans for future

I think it's a good thing IMHO.

Peace!

It's a good thing until they take over the world.

in a pig's eye! the box has the same stupid method of not showing the video card on the back. it costs the same price everywhere that the visiontek did. EVERY PLACE that stocked visiontek is selling the EXACT SAME BFG version for the SAME PRICE. at the wal-mart that had the visiontek 4200SE for $125, had a BFG 4200SE selling for $178 or something on the shelf NEXT to it.
yeah yeah yeah.

If its an open box, there is probably a video card in there, although probably not a Ti4200. More like a 2MB ATi PCI card.
