Visiontek rebates suck! gf3-ti200 $50 rebate from last year

I just got off the phone with visiontek about my $50 rebate for the GF3 ti-200 that was on sale last year after thanksgiving. I sent in my stuff in on time.
According to wheresmyrebate it is accepted and is to be shipped out on 3/10/02. Well visiontek says that they were busy so so the rebate wont be sent till april 20!

I thought they had to have them out in 4-8weeks not 4-8 months.

The guy on the phone wouldnt do nothing for me. He also refused to let me talk to a manager. I now have to call back and try to get someone to give me a manager grrr.

What's worse is that I'm waiting on a $30 regular GF3 rebate from the end of OCTOBER and when I called, they told me that Visiontek did not send them funds for that rebate! :| At least I got my $50 expedited, but I have one more $50 rebate that needs to be taken care of. I think this is more of a fault of Visiontek rather than TCA Rebates :|

Wohoo! i just got off the phone with onother person and they said they would get it off in the mail today.
So if it aint here by next weekend i will call them and complain!

UPDATE..

Just got off the phone with the Rebate Center. They said that the offer was extended and the rebate would go out in mid to late May. What a bunch of BS.

I'm going up to best buy today and demanding my $50

I bought a GF3 more than a month ago and wheresmyrebate says it will not be sent until June. What a racket . . .

Welcome to the "Waiting on a Rebate" party. I purchased my GF3 back in September 2001; got the rebate last month. Too 6-8 weeks, my foot. 😛
