Visiontek GTS 32MB any good?

I'm thinking about getting this card. Is it as good as the review say it is? Anyone done any rendering in 3DS Max 4? I've got a Duron 750@900. Just wanted to know about ppls experiences with this card. From what I've read, this is really close to the reference board from nVidia so I figure it should perform well and without any glitches.

I play mostly CS, Black & White, and some other popular games currently out. This card I can get for $95 shipped.

Anyways, opinions and suggestions are apprecaited. Thanks.

I haven't used the program you mentioned, but in AutoCAD it sure rocks!! Mine overclocks well (225/390) and I've had zero problems with it. I recommend it, but for the $ why not get a pro with 400 rated memory. Just a suggestion.

Excellent card.
Visiontek always rates as one of the best when sites review the cards.
They also are the supplier of cards for Elsa.
One of the few nVidia cards with great 2d.

bluemax, you should pay a visit to the Hot Deals forum.
A couple nights ago, 472 people were able to get the card for $69 to $79.
Visiontek GF2 GTS, brand new
Current price range is back up to around $99, but different lot's go up all the time.

when you overclocked the gts, did you use any extra cooling?

No, stock cooling. Memory heat sinks don't do anything on a GTS.
