Visio ERD to SQL

So I went through this whole week thinking if i did an ERD in Visio it would look great and diagram out well and it would easily trasnfer into SQL as most of the other programs i have used in the past to generate ERD's do so. But i cannot find anyay to do this in Visio now that the massive ERD is done. I can see there are ways to have it auto-connect to MS SQL Server and create/edit database tables but no way to generate SQL for more generic systems (or mysql in my case).
Anything out there that can take a VSD file and translate it into an SQL file?
