Visa's Extended Warranty option

Have any of you ever used it? I'm curious how easy of a claim process it is. If it isn't too bad, I'll ditch the idea of a squaretrade warranty
 
I made a claim once for my son's XBOX. The claim was accepted within a week and they paid out within a couple of weeks of me submitting the invoice. To ensure coverage I had to get an estimate from Microsoft for the cost of repairs and have that accepted before I sent the XBOX in for repair.
