I don't even consider Diners Club a credit card. In my 4-5 years of retail I've never had one person try to use one on me, including my time as a waiter at Chilis, where it actually is accepted iirc.
Discover is a pretty easy to get card - got one with absolutely no credit whatsoever, AMEX is harder to get than any of them iirc.
